The housing here is not one thing, and that matters when you're sizing parts. The thing that most often turns a simple job into a permit conversation here is the trees. It's also why the debris load here is what it is: a mature canopy over a long driveway drops steadily onto tracks and photo-eyes, and a fouled sensor is the single most common reason a Lindenwood door starts reversing before it closes. Atherton's code does allow underground garage entries within the front setback, so subterranean parking is a real condition here too — and a door at the bottom of a ramp has its own drainage and sensor problems.
